Beggings

Marin started his story in model making even 50 years ago when he built the sailing ships Bounty and Dubrovnik Galija, but life took him in different directions and he returned to model making when he retired.

Return

Returning to his old hobby, he fell in love with model making again. In his life, Marin was: an electrician, a plumber, a locksmith, a shipyard worker, and he is best remembered as a glassmaker. He was also involved in sailing, and throughout his life he had 4 sailboats that he mostly equipped himself. He won many regattas, the most prestigious of which is the popular Vis regatta. When he returned to model making, all the aforementioned life experience enabled him to perfect his craft and make this special fleet in his small workshop.
