Falkuša - a traditional fishing boat, a type of gajeta that was built in Komiža on the island of Vis and which for centuries was the basis of the livelihood and life of the fishing community there. It was used until the middle of the 20th century, mostly for hunting bluefish in the waters around Palagruža. Its length was 7 to 9 m, it had a rudder, four oars, a mast and falkas – plank structures over the sides that acted as a raised fence and could be removed.
