Fast and agile Mediterranean sailing ship, in use since XV. until the beginning XIX. century It had sharp hull lines, a low decked fore section, a rulled bow, a raised aft deck with a long quarterdeck, three masts with Latin sails and oars, and a deadweight of 150 to 300 t. It was used for piracy, trade and fishing. On the same on the Adriatic coast, most of the buildings were built in Boka Kotor.
