ŠTILAC

Štilac is the original Croatian sailing ship of the recent era, it was mentioned only at the beginning of the 19th century. This type of sailing ship was used mainly for the transport of cargo, as salbunjer (extraction and transport of sea sand) and passenger transport. Today, there are still quite a few of these boats on the Adriatic, but now they all have built-in engines.
