TRABAKUL (MOSOR-SPLIT)

Trabakul is the name for a traditional sailing ship on the eastern coast of the Adriatic with two masts. Trabakul is a ship of typical Venetian shape, it has a round bow and stern, on the bow it has eyes as a decoration and below them openings for anchor chains. The bow loom ends with an apple, which is often modeled in the shape of a human head. Smaller trabakuls are 14-20 meters long with a capacity of 40-100 tons, and larger ones are 30 meters long and have a capacity of 60-200 tons.
